School Events - Foundation Stage Visit Twycross Zoo

The children enjoyed visiting Twycross Zoo to look at all the different animals. They saw tall giraffes and swinging monkeys having lots of fun playing. The children had the opportunity to touch a corn snake and a chinchilla.

It was a lovely hot sunny day and the children enjoyed sharing an ice-lolly together at the end.

We saw a very large tortoise. He was moving very slowly!		The children were excited to see an elephant. He had a very long trunk.
We enjoyed looking at the very tall giraffes, and watching all the different monkeys swinging.		The children met a chinchilla. It felt very soft and fluffy.
Looking at a real tarantula!		We watched the flamingos standing on one leg in the water.
We had lots of fun on the rides and the play areas.		We enjoyed swinging and climbing together.
