School Events - The Sound of Music

15 July 2010

Did you hear us on the radio and in the theatre?

The 15th of July was a memorable day for members of the school choir, singing live on Radio WM in the morning and the Hippodrome Theatre in the afternoon before the Matinee Performance of the Sound of Music.

The choir were fortunate to meet the children who were the Von Trapp children in the London Production.

We received many positive comments from the people listening to the Choir singing songs from the Sound of Music.

"The Radio broadcast was BRILLIANT."

"I was absolutely delighted to hear the children speak and sing so well."

"The children sounded fantastic and really entertaining."

"We were amazed not only by the music and the singing but by the really confident way the children spoke."
