School Events - National Singing Day

To mark National Singing Day our School Choir were fortunate to be able to go to Parkfield Community School in Saltley to sing for pupils in Years 5 and 6. Our Choir sang a range of hymns and well known current songs including (The Climb and Hallelujah) in two and three part harmony.

We had enjoyed a visit from Parkfield's Nasheed Choir on 8th February 2010. We were very impressed with the way the children sang unaccompanied.

On both occasions there were opportunities for faith sharing.

Links between the two schools will be further strengthened when we have our Global Dimension week in June. Staff and children from Parkfield School have promised to give us valuable input when our Year 6 study Islam.
