School Events - Mrs McLaughlin's Retirement Mass

12 February 2010

The children in Year 2 led a Whole School Mass of Our Lady to thank God for Mrs McLaughlin, fondly known as Essie.

Essie has given over twenty five years dedicated service to the school having worked in the school kitchens, looked after the children during their lunch break and worked for many years supervising the cleaners and making sure that our school was always clean and tidy.

We wish Essie every happiness in her retirement and pray that she will have more time for her family.

The family tradition of working in St Thomas More School has been handed on from Essie to her daughter Fiona who is the school's new Office Manager.
