School Events - Reception Maths Workshop

On 23 May the new Reception children starting school in September 2008 were invited to a special 'Number Workshop' to celebrate Excellence in Maths Week.

The aims of the workshop were to build on the relationship between parents and school working together and increase parental involvement in children's number skills at home and school.

The children had lots of fun decorating and making number games with their parents for them to share at home. Miss McGrory fully enjoyed working alongside the parents and children to make numbers fun and exciting! Here are some of the comments from the parents who attended:
