School Events - When Irish Eyes are Smiling

Following requests for a CD each year from members of the audience at our St Patrick's Day Concert, we recorded our very own CD of Irish Songs.

Members of the School Choir learnt a range of Irish Songs off by heart and the whole song sang with the Choir for the 'Fields of Athenry' and 'Gypsy Rover.'

The Celi Band, a brilliant group of musicians joined Sister Susan to provide the musical accompaniment. Our school hall was turned into a recording studio for the morning.

We ran a competition to design a cover for the CD. The winning cover was 'When Irish Eyes are Smiling'. We hope that many hearts will be happy when they hear our wonderful singing.
