8 September 2010
Fr John our new Parish Priest celebrated Mass on Wednesday 8th September 2010, the birthday of Our Lady to ask God's blessing on our new school year.
This was Father John's first Mass, the children welcomed him and prayed for him.
Children from Year 6 led the Readings, Responsorial Psalm, Bidding Prayers and brought a bouquet of flowers, a rosary with the bread and wine in the Offertory Procession.
After the Gospel, all members of staff and governors renewed their Baptismal Promises and committed themselves anew to accepting their calling to follow Christ and to live our Mission.
"Christ is the Centre of the School Community where we live, love and learn together."
