5 and 19 October 2009
On the 5th and 19th October Children in Years 3 and 4 visited the Tudor Manor house at Baddesley Clinton to support our Tudor topic.
We were lucky to get the opportunity not only to visit the house but to climb into the priest holes and visit the local estate church. We viewed the scene of a Tudor murder and stepped on the head of the perpetrator as well as learn about the persecution that Catholics endured during this time.
he moated manor is truly beautiful and very local so maybe you could visit yourself when it opens in March! You can see from the photographs what a great time we had.
