School Events - Baboushka

13 and 14 December 2010

Key Stage 1 performed their Christmas Production 'Baboushka' on the evening of 13th of December to a 'full house' and again on the afternoon of the 14th to parents and visitors of the school.

'Baboushka and the story of Christmas' is a traditional Russian tale about an old lady getting ready to visit the baby Jesus. She shows true kindness and love to the people that she meets on her journey by giving away her some of her possessions and in doing so spreads the true message of Christmas.

The children all sang beautifully, some memorable songs being 'Amazing' and 'Baboushka' and acted very well indeed. The production was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
