We are an Ofsted registered after school facility, established in September 2003.
We welcome children aged 4 to 11 years, into a warm friendly atmosphere where parents/carers can be assured their children are safe and happy at play.
We care for 24 children each afternoon from 3.00pm until 6.00pm, at £5.50 per session. A light, healthy snack is included.
The after school staff Teresa, Julie and Sandra are qualified to NVQ level 3, and provide suitable planned activities to help children learn, play and relax with their friends.

Our
Basketball Club is run by Curtis who is a professional coach from the West Indies. He has taught us
some great skills doing our lunchtime sessions - some of us have now been chosen to represent Birmingham
in the Under 12's team!
In 2007 we are taking part in an inter schools competition which we are very excited about.
The Computer Club is open on Mondays to Year 5 and Year 6 children to raise standards in Literacy, and on Thursdays for all children to develop their ICT skills.
Children are able to complete homework, research information about topics being studied in class, and to participate in fun activities to enhance learning across the curriculum, as well as to improve their ICT skills.
There is no charge for this club and it lasts for one hour on both Mondays and Thursdays during term time.
Our coach is Sarah. She is a great player and makes our lunchtime sessions really fun.
We learn how to play as part of a team and improve our skills too. We play lots of rapid team games and share all the positions, so we find out about the different roles a football team needs.

During
the week, we are lucky to have curriculum football skills lessons provided by a Football Development
Agency.
Mykey, our coach also runs two after school football clubs so we can continue to practice our skills in team events. The football clubs run for an hour each week and we have 'fabulous football fun!'.
The Young Detectives are a group of 15 Year 5 pupils who wanted to take part in a 2 year project to find
out about their local area. The group meets fortnightly and is led by Clare Jessop from CSV Environment.
The local history project aims to encourage children to take an interest in their local area's past and present by becoming historical detectives. So far children have had the opportunity to:
We look forward to the completion of the project.
