Inspections

Our school was last inspected by Ofsted in June 2011.
We were delighted to be rated 'outstanding'. Some comments from the report include:
- St Joseph’s Primary School is an outstanding school. It is exceptionally well led and enables its pupils to achieve excellent outcomes.
- Pupils thoroughly enjoy school.
- Pupils feel very safe in school. This is supported by the school’s excellent safeguarding procedures and the outstanding care, guidance and support shown by the school.
- Pupils are exceptionally well prepared for the next stage of their education.
- Standards by Year 6 are much higher than those found in many other primary schools.
- Attendance and punctuality are good.
- Behaviour is excellent, both in lessons and at other times in the school day.
