Special Event - A Spitfire Pilot visits Year 2

Mr Collins, a great grandfather from a child in Year 2, came in to talk to us about his experiences as a Spitfire pilot.

He was able to show us many photographs and images of the aeroplanes he flew and the uniform that he wore. Also we were able to look at the medals he was awarded for being a pilot and the albums with lots of balck and white photographs of the places he visited during the second world war as a pilot.

Mr Collins was very passionate about his experiences and was lucky enough to fly an aeroplance recently (as a pilot) to celebrate a special birthday!
