Special Event - Science Day

In February 2009 we had a Science themed day, in which the whole school participated. All classes were involved in an in depth study and more 'hands on' practical activities:
- FY - Animals involving 'Hoot' the Owl.
- Y1 - Waterproof or not - involving a splashing experiment through the stream.
- Y2 - Electricity - involving making circuits with buzzers, lights and switches.
- Y3 - Keeping Healthy - making healthy sandwiches and a fizzy drink experiment.
- Y4 - Circuits - creating lego village with lighting.
- Y5 - Changing states and living processes - investigations linked to the senses.
- Y6 - Micros and Vaccines - investigations using yeast.
Everyone had lots of fun, as can be seen in the photographs below.
