Special Event - School Corridor Murals
Autumn 2008 to Spring 2009
We were successful in an award from the National Lottery to help us buy the services of an Artist to come and run workshops for the parents and children in creating murals on the school corridors.
The infant (KS1) corridor is titled 'What a wonderful world' and is a large world of minibeasts and children exploring the giant flowers and undergrowth.
The junior (KS2) corridor is rolling display of God's creation starting with the universe and Pre historic times incorporating dinosaurs... leading to more modern wild animals; Elephants, giraffes, Apes, Zebra, Rhinos, Parrots, Lizards to name a few ending with Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden.
Also we have a new addition of Our Lady appearing to Bernadette in Lourdes. This is displayed in our Year 5 and 6 unit, a building dedicated to Mary.
