Special Event - A New Mural for Key Stage 1

In May, an artist started to create a mural in the Key Stage 1 cloakroom area creating a huge wildlife world for the children.

This has generated much discussion and excitement among children (and staff), but more importantly will brighten the corridors and be an invaluable source of stimulus for Art and Science, as well as creative writing etc.

And here is the completed mural painted in the corridors of Key Stage 1. The children have loved watching the artist work and seeing the painting progress... ask them about it!

In September 2008 the artist came back and completed the rest of the Key Stage 1 corridor. Here you can see the art in all its glory.
