Special Event - Year 2 go to Conkers

April 2005

In April 2005 our Year 2 children went to Conkers for a day trip. We all had a very exciting day, and would recommend it as a great visitor's day out.

The train took us around the site. Mrs Cooke and Mrs Podraza were very excited! The ranger, Jodie, then showed us where to find seeds, and we pretended to be flowers and trees spreading seeds around the countryside.The adventure playground was a big hit!

We also made kits and stuck seeds to them. The wind is one of the most important ways to spread seeds. We had a great day out!
