Special Event - School Buildings Celebration

On Thursday 5 May 2005 we celebrated the opening of our new school buildings.

The day started with Mass celebrated by Bishop Philip Pargeter at Holy Trinity Church, followed by a Blessing Service back at school. After the Mass, Key Stage One children enjoyed circus skills whilst Key Stage Two children participated in sports activities organised by Bishop Walsh Students.

Parents and guests were invited to enjoy refreshments provided by the PFA accompanied by the Bishop Walsh String Quartet. The celebrations culminated in a fantastic Balloon Race.

We would like to thank all the staff for their hard work organising the day and activities, CJM for leading the Liturgy and Music, Bishop Walsh for helping with Key Stage 2 activities and the string quartet, and Jim Millar for the circus skills.
