SCHOOL INFORMATION
On this page you will find a great deal of information about our school that we hope will be of particular interest to parents.
School Prospectus
Our prospectus is full of information about Parkfield, including our aims, mission statement, staff and governing body, admissions, the school day, attendance and holidays, security and safety, dinner arrangements and healthy eating, behaviour, the curriculum, homework, extra curricular activities, and much more.
School Profile
Following the passage of the Education Act 2005, governing bodies are no longer required to hold an annual meeting for parents or produce a governors' annual report to parents. The report has been replaced by the school profile, which is designed for schools to communicate with parents about the school's progress, priorities and performance.

Ofsted Inspection

Our last Ofsted Inspection was in January 2012, when we were judged to be a 'good school'. The report said:
- Parkfield is a good school that has made rapid improvement since its previous inspection.
- The key to the school’s good overall effectiveness lies in the good leadership of the headteacher and senior teachers and in the strong determination of staff to bring about improvement.
- Achievement is good because all pupils, including disabled pupils and those with special educational needs, make at least good progress.
- Children make a good start in the Early Years Foundation Stage.

Note. School will only close for extreme weather, and even though it may be raining or cold your child must come to school every day.
