Special Event - Loudmouth Theatre Company
5 November 2010
On Friday 5th November, Year 5 was fortunate to have Loudmouth Theatre Company visit, to perform a very gentle drama on the theme of bullying and domestic violence.
Parents were encouraged to attend a taster session to see a demonstration of the drama and ask any questions and generally put their minds at ease about the subject matter. It was a great success and the parents were asked for feed back on the event.
Would you recommend that the school continues to use Loudmouth?
- "Definitely"
- "Yes, it is very good and I believe it helps people"
- "It is fantastic and the children will enjoy it"
- "They are excellent at showing different sides of bullying and violence"
Do you think drama is a good way of exploring these issues?
- "Acting it out brings it home to you"
- "It’s more subtle at pointing out positive ways of working out what is right and wrong"
- "It gives children ideas of where to go for help with issues"
- "It gets the point across very well"
We would like to thank Kings Norton Extended Services for providing the funding for this production.
