Learning Mentors

Mrs Roach and Mr Walker, our Learning Mentors

As Learning Mentors we work as part of the Pastoral Team, together with Mrs O'Toole, the Deputy Headteacher, and Mrs Venables, the Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCO).

We work cohesively to serve the needs of the 'whole child' and their family. We recognise the importance of establishing strong communication with our families and to be honest and open in our approach.

We adopt a non-judgemental approach, whereby the care of our pupils is the priority and we look to find solutions to problems, not to place blame.

We value all our pupils regardless of their age, sex, physical or mental ability, ethnicity or religion.

Our door is always open!
