School Event - Year 5 visit the Space Centre

In February, Year 5 were lucky enough to visit the Space Centre in Leicester. It had been voted the largest visitor attraction of 2009 so Year 5 were all very excited about the visit!

They were not disappointed. The children and teachers had a fantastic day and described it as being 'an out of this world experience!'.

The children learnt many fascinating new facts about space and were able to look around lots of interesting exhibitions and take part in some exciting interactive activities.
