School Event - Royal Wedding Celebrations

On Thursday 28th April Chivenor School celebrated the forthcoming Royal Wedding with a variety of fun activities.

Children and staff were asked to dress for the day as a wedding guest, a prince or princess or in red, white and blue. As the weather was warm, children played games or danced outside and were able to choose an ice cream or lolly at the ice cream van that was parked on the playground for the afternoon.

Later in the afternoon the children sat down together for a party tea and Year 4 even had their own wedding cake made by Caitlin in 4RD. Chivenor pupils were then presented with a special bookmark to commemorate the wedding of Prince William and Catherine Middleton.
